Lisa Smith Joins the DINAS team

New Show Secretary

The committee of DINAS are delighted to announce Lisa Smith as their new Show Secretary from 2022.

Lisa has been around the agility circuit for 30 plus years, and has judged and competed at DINAS many times.

Lisa started her agility career with Milton Keynes DTC where she was secretary and show secretary for 10 years.

She then started teaching and formed her own club, 20 years ago.

Her first agility dog was Henry a retriever x collie. She has completed at Crufts and Olympia, and run all heights and various breeds along the years.

She currently has 2 competing dogs and a Golden Retriever pup to bring on.

Lisa says  -  "I’ve spent 40 years in various admin roles so hoping my career skills will transfer to helping keep DINAS running for many a year to come. I am very much looking forward to the challenge"

Brian Southon

Sad Passing...

The committee of Dogs In Need Agility Society are sorry to learn that Brian Southon
passed away on January 30 th 2022.
Brian was a founder member of DINAS and a committee member for 16 years,
managing radio’s and the PA until he retired in 2008.

We extend our warmest sympathies to his wife Sylvia and family.

Funeral arrangements are:
Thursday February 24 th at 2.30pm at Wessex Dale Crematorium, Bubb Lane, West
End, Southampton, SO30 2HL.
Donations to the Dementia Charity.

New website
