We would like to thank all the helpers who volunteer their time and work and all the judges who donate their expenses which makes all the charity donations possible.
We will update this list as and when we make more donations. Check the Dogs In Need website.
Thanks to everyone attending who made DINAS 2018 a success and look forward to seeing you all next year.
Thank - Gerry

Sam Clarke & assistant Margaret from Agility World love being with us here at Trinity Park.
A sponsor for several years now, they enjoy the relaxed atmosphere at DINAS and introduce many new products each year to tempt us to their stand.
Ain’t Misbehavin Agility Clothing, Lesley Singers and her husband have been printing their T Shirts etc. with fabulous designs. Situated by Rings 8 & 9, they have promised sponsorship for 2019. Thank you both, and we look forward to welcoming you back on August 12th 2019.
Richard Chaffe from Crazy Crêpes sells wonderful savoury & sweet crêpes from his van conversion together with wonderful fresh coffee.
Blighted by wasps this year, Richard and his team still managed to smile and have a chat to us advising us what to choose from their selection of goodies.
Another wonderful sponsor, Richard has provided that little taste of France from his perfect Crêpes.
Kelly from DOGGYJUMPS provides the agility equipment for the evening Junior Training sessions arranged with Alan & Selina Bray.
DOGGYJUMPS stand is featured around Ring 1 showing the latest trends in Agility equipment for home training and Agility Clubs also.
Thank you Kelly for your wonderful sponsorship
Nick and Julie Ross, always have a smile and happily chill out for the week here at DINAS. Sponsors for many years, they sell an assortment of dog treats leads and toys but Nick is better known for his hand made leather leads and collars, made to the owners’ requirements.
Paula, Jack & Abee from Pawstrading situated by rings 8 & 9, have been a trade stand with DINAS for a number of years.
They decided to sponsor our show for the first time in 2018, we thank them for their support and great prizes for the ‘Helpers Draw’.
See you next year, perhaps with a ‘little paws trader’.
Caroline & Phil Hall have joined us for their second year at DINAS and have generously sponsored a class for 2018.
Our on site caravan shop and approved workshop caravan engineer, Phil is kept busy with minor repairs and complete caravan services whilst Caroline chills out running her dog or doing the hard work in the accessory shop taking Phil’s bookings.
Affectionately known as ‘Captain Caravan’, Phil constantly appears with dirty knees trying to prove that caravan servicing is harder than serving in their shop.
Pet-Ography, Chris has just celebrated his 10th year at DINAS and has been a sponsor for all of these years. Always in the corner under the tree at Ring 1, Chris sets up his mobile photographic studio to produce the most wonderful photographic studies of may of our Agility Dogs.
Chris and his wife enjoy DINAS, usually participating in the evening entertainment and using our show as a perfect working holiday.
Thank you Chris, see you next year.
Dave and Debbie Treadwell (Regatta) has a great selection of coats, gilets, etc., we always find their stand on wet or cooler days.
Richard Weller-Poley and Isobel have taken action shots in our rings since we went to The Suffolk Showground 24 years ago.
Richard can be discreetly seen in his ‘lounger’ in any ring for the duration of the show, snapping away and producing photographs on his A Frames outside his tradestand. These pictures can be mounted and framed to personal preferences.
Another wonderful sponsor and always generous with our ‘Helping Hands’ draw.
Thank you Richard & Isobel, see you next year.
Roberto’s Ice Cream, one of our annual stands at DINAS has given great sponsorship to our show for many years.
Being a local supplier of delicious Ice Cream made with fresh milk and cream plus natural ingredients, we are always pleased to see them here with us at our show
Thank you for your support Roberto.
The Smiffy’s family. What can we say about them? They arrive in convoy, they work as an incredible team, they feed us when we don’t want to cook and they have done cream teas for us in 2018; all this with a huge smile from each and every one of them.
Smiffy’s have been at DINAS for countless years, they have sponsored each of the years they have been with us. We hope they will be with us for many years to come. Thank you Sue, Geoff and your wonderful family also.
THREECROSS Agility Group was formed in 2010 by Heather Gibson and Carol Hoare. They wanted somewhere to train their dogs and decided to start their own club. They were very fortunate being offered the use of a paddock by their vet Vaughn Stoman of Alderholt and Three Cross Vets.
The club was started with a few friends but currently has 54 members with a waiting list for places to become available.
Some members take Agility quite seriously and compete throughout the UK & NI. Occasionally more experienced trainers are invited to the club to encourage new ideas and keep them on their toes!
Threecross run an Agility show at the Dorset Charity Horse & Dog Show.
As Agility can be a very physical activity and to avoid unnecessary injury, Threecross suggest to owners that their dogs are not overweight, and politely suggest that owners have to run as well as their dogs!!!! Dogs have to be of good temperament and have reasonable obedience standards i.e. they should be able to sit and wait, come when called and not run off to see the other dogs, (allowances are made for young inexperienced dogs).
Beginners do a pre-agility course where they learn how to use the equipment safely but don’t do high jumps.
Heather with husband Mark are perhaps one of the first people to greet you at DINAS; they make sure we do the statutory 5 mph when passing the DINAS Check-In Point, opposite the Trinity Rooms.
Thank you for your patience at check in, and for your clubs’ amazing sponsorship.
Valery Johnson still has success with her Shelties at Dogs in Need!
Valery & Douglas are very generous sponsors to DINAS (Valdug Shetland Sheepdogs) and have attended every year since the first show at Malvern.
Traveling with fellow competitors from Jersey each year, Valery has enjoyed many successes here at Ipswich. Even at 80 years old Valery was placed in two runs on Wednesday and qualified for the small classic finals.
Well done Valery and thank you both for your enormous generosity to Dogs in Need. (Photo's Valery & Douglas with their dog Connie & Valery and Connie running in the finals 2018)
Warehill Agility Group is a new sponsor to DINAS for 2018. The club has been going for some 20 years but has recently been bought by Teresa & Andrew Sully and also Phil Williams. Training nights are on a Monday and Friday near Dunstable.
Being Ring Managers at DINAS in rings 12 & 13, Andrew and Phil have been hard at work this week in rain and sunshine.
We appreciate your kind support and hard work.
Nige & Jacqui TUFFSTUFF choose the shady spot, by the spinney at the side of Ring 1. Always busy with their embroidery machine, personalising collars and leads and offering a wonderful service.
Thank you both for your generosity as sponsors and also for our ‘Helping Hands’ Prize Draw.
Doug Lowes from K9 Time, usually in the background at DINAS but provides a vital service to each and every competitor with his digital automated timing service.
Doug has moved agility into the modern times from the stopwatch era to where we are now. Should there ever be a problem with the device, you can depend that Doug will be at the ring in no time to sort out any minor problems.
Thank you Doug for your generous support over many years.
See you next year K9 Time!
The ‘Cheeky Chappy from Cannock’, Darren together with partner Lisa, always ready for a laugh and a chat whilst offering you their comprehensive selection of Beds, Treats, Toys etc.
Extremely generous with prizes for our Helpers Daily Draw, we thank them for continued sponsorship and support to our show.
Sheila Taylor (Taylormade4dogs) has kindly sponsored DINAS for the first time in 2018. Although Sheila doesn’t have her own trade stand at our show she is in great demand in Judges Pantry for her wonderful selection of homemade cakes. She has a daily selection of Coffee & Walnut Cake, Chocolate & Cherry Cake, Carrot Cake, Lemon Drizzle Cake, Fresh Cream Strawberry Scones, Shortbread, Victoria Sponge, she even now bakes gluten free cakes for our celiac visitors.
Thank you Sheila and Dawn, you look after us amazingly well, a special ‘thank you’ to Sheila for her additional class sponsorship.
We welcome new sponsors to DINAS for 2019, The Suffolk Group, ‘Akela Dog Food’. Liz and Alan are happy to sample their local dog food, also discuss your nutritional requirements for your competing dogs, puppies or veterans also
Maynard & Sheelagh Rea from Northern Ireland, have sponsored DINAS for 25 years as ‘Hazelridge’
Maynard has done 27 DINAS shows with Sheelagh joining him 2 years later.
They even got married at Gretna Green on the way to Ipswich DINAS.
They now travel to us with their son Rowan who has taken this super shot of his parents.
Sheelagh can often be heard on the PA, and in their spare time assist sister Heather and brother in law Mark in the Information Check-In
Thank you for your continued generous support.
